This weekend's Zorcerer of Zo game was disrupted as candorite was made housebound by the Vermont weather. This is a major bummer, as thinng like this keep happening to her. It's like an evil witch was angry with her or something. In any event, since her coming down was the catalyst to try to get extra gaming in this month I just pushed the whole thing off for some further date.

In prep, however, I had made three sample charaters incase Candorite or kriz1818couldn't come up with anything on the spot. Rather than see them go to waste, I'll put them here. If nothing else, it'll let people know what to expect when we do get this Zo thing rolling. Because there will be Zo. oh yes, my pretties, there will be Zo.

Professor Verdigris perfected a Poor Perpetual Youth rune... one that made the caster 11 years old Forever! Trapped in a Good Unaging, Baby faced body the rune mage has wandered Zo looking for an academy posting that would take a squeaky voiced professor seriously. Verdigris has spent decades, maybe centuries, making Good observations & maps in an Infinite Personal Diary to supplement a memory that extends back just 5 years. Verdigris is still an Expert at Animating Runes, and can scribe runes on boots that make then dance, on swords to make them fight or even on the air to create winds! Truly, this youth brings life to all things.

Major Tenant is an Expert Soldier, having seen action in the battles with Azul and against Captain Mouse the pirate (though Leaf hates being on or in the water - the Major defend the ports!). The Major can fence, stand guard, spot threats, eat bad food, grouse about the weather and do other soldiery things. Particularly Good skills are the Equestiran arts and the Spit & Polish fastidiousness of being a soldier - the Major is always smartly turned out with reliable soldiering gear ready to hand. Part of that gear is a Good Flaming Sword (Leaf does have a non-flaming one as well) and a Good Singing voice that can sing rousing songs.

While a prototypical Giallon - sturdy, stoic, dull, and a little uncultured - no doubts that Blud Stone is an Expert Hunter, skilled at tracking (especially across the savannas and deserts of Giallo) a ready hand with a spear or a bow and especially Good at Sneaking up on prey. As befits a hunting hound, Blud's Nose Knows! It is a finely tuned instrument, able detect poisons, scent out foes and, of course, track. When needs be Blud can be make Fearsome Racket, scaring away predators, startling prey and intimidating people, and has a Good Stamina for running prey to ground. When in the city and short on cash, Blud hangs out a shingle as a bodyguard or finder of wayward kinfolk.
