It is...It is... It is Green.
Aug. 1st, 2007 07:01 pmPainting on the house started, and soon our white house with blue shutters will be a green house with yellow shutters and white trim. We took possession of the house 5 years ago today, and we knew then that it needed a new paint job. It just takes us a little while to get to these things.
On a side note, I already had to chastize the painters once for their totally inappropriate topics of conversation outside our windows. We hired College Pro to do the job and, while I was working from home, I overheard them making some incredibly rude and thoughtless commentary, as college students are prone to do. I stalked outside and informed them in no uncertain terms that I was willing to tolerate a lot, but I was only half way through "Half Blood Prince" and I didn't want to hear word one about "Deathly Hollows"!
The panicked looks on their faces when I started my rant as they scrolled back through the last few minutes of conversation for offensive language and topics was priceless. The relieved laughter costs $19.95.
