A brief history lesson...
Sep. 2nd, 2006 06:25 pmI have some thoughts I want to raise about my CT gaming group and the way the prospectus system we've been using has played out, but first I need to give a little background on what we were playing before the prospectus system came into play. As such, here was what we were gaming in thee days when vicious dictatorial GMs forced their will on the players, rather than our current enlightened method of the players picking the least repellent of evils.

More to follow on each of the prospectuses and what was chosen, but taking a look at these, they're all very GM directed tales - '1001 NYN' & 'Threads and Shadows' are both onionskins, '1001 NYN' and 'the Russia Campaign' both started as NPCs giving the PCs orders and/or direction. This focus is all to the good for getting the group focused for our monthly 6 hour game slots, but has an impact later on.
