Pointless, but short

Jack Shafer over at Slate just lamented the loss of the 'Bus Plunge' story - the newspapers short entires of bad things happening inn faraway places used to block out the last bit of column inch on a particular page. One reader responded by sharing this one, which apparently ran in the Philadelphia Bulletin

No Blood in Ants
Ants have no blood.

That just cracks me up. Ahh, how I miss the hard-hitting newspapers of old....
