20 hours before deadline and this month's A&E is finally finished. No Hogwarts write up, but at least there's something. 

it's been a wacky month.  

And for the record: The Skies Discrowned is not very good; Power's second novel Epitaph in Rust, is downright horrible. I'm not sure I'll be able to finish it....

Reading early Powers is an exercise in watching a talented writer searching for his proper material. He thrashes about trying post-apocalypse stories, hard SF, etc., before landing safely on the shore of Historical Fantasy where he is immediately acclaimed as a king.
