Helpful quote

I've been traveling a lot for work of late, hence the relative silence here. I have had some rather good game sessions since my last post, but I'll detail them later as I am still swamped with the job they pay me for.

I just wanted to share this quote, which I came across in Arturo Perez Reverte's The Nautical Chart:

"At sea -- as in Fencing, Coy had heard somewhere -- everything turned on keeping your adversary at a distance and anticipating his moves."

Given that  chadu is working on a fencing and pirate game and my own Emirikol game has a captured Pirate Queen who is bound to escape and bedevil our heroes in the next book, I thought this was a worthwhile pull quote.
