Subplot Kudzu

I have a nascent character idea that I'm kicking around. The best description, I supposed, would be reformed monster. As in, under-the-bridge, or perhaps under-the-bed type monster (probably troll-like) who has been shown the path to righteousness and (mostly) joined the program. Perhaps a retainer of the King?
