37) Slaughterhouse Five: found this on the shelf at the library while looking for some more early King, decided that since I haven't ready any Vonnegut and he is as much of a cultral referent as the dark storyteller from Maine that I might as well take it out. I'm glad I did. It was a quick read, and interesting. Some of the ideas in it are now mainstreamed, and I can't help but think that some of its popularity came from it being an ant-war book released in 1969, but I enjoyed it enough to want to read more Vonnegut, which was clearly liking it enough.
