Making Maleness Easier
Nov. 12th, 2007 07:18 pmGoogle has announced that they will be producing Google-Maps connected consoles for gasoline pumps, so that rather than admitting to the counter-jockey that you need directions you can fill up and print out a set of directions to take you from that gas station to where you need to go. Clever Google!
I have no problem asking for directions (in defiance of stereotypical maleness), but I know from my own years as a counter jockey that the person in the gas station might not know how to get you were you're going either. This strikes mme as being much more my style than a GPS unit for my car - those things just irritate me.
