Synchronicity

So the baby is back to crying for a while before going to sleep at night (no real idea what changed from when she had figured it out and was going down peacefully), and I noted something to Rachel that those of you without infants might not be aware of - if the child cries for long enough, you will continue to hear te crying in your mind Even when she's quiet. The crying sort of echoes in the silence. 

I mention to Rachel that it's akin to my college days of too much Tetris, where I would continue to see the little blocks fall between the empty spaces of words as I tried to study. She nodded and went back to reading Brainiac, Ken Jennnings book about Jeopardy and trivia. 

Five minutes later she bursts out laughing, as KenJen referred to his extreme training Jeopardy regimen as being 'akin to his college days of too much Tetris, where he would continue to see the little blocks fall between the empty spaces of words as he tried to study.'

He is my King! I must go to him and serve his trivial geekness!
