Note to self - use vacation time

I found myself scrambling to use the last of my use it or lose it vacation time this month, as we just didn't vacate much this year - just a couple long weekends. That last vacation day was supposed to be today...after I quickly got one or two things done. I logged on at 8:15, and logged off at 4:35. So much for that.

End of year isn't normally like this, but dear God today was a mess. Must do better next year.

Happy New Year's everyone! Sorry the snow and the little girl's bed time are keeping me from our usual parties.

one of the few *good* things where I work is you get 15 months to use the 12 months of accumulated Vacation -- probably due to the seasonality of the business. They know you are taking it either in Feb. or July and not much elsewhere.

Soooooo, if you didn't make time in July you take February.

Hey, maybe you could recommend a policy???????
