Book 62
62) IT: One of the monstrously long Stephen King pieces, this was very good - quite readable, nicely scary, very human. I did have some issues with it, but the concept of adults re-gathering to face a menace they encountered as children was very well executed, with the idea of slowly reversing amnesia letting the author tell the childhood story in paralell with the adult one as the adults remembered it being a big plus. I'll definately be drawing on elements of this for a later campaign.

Another good 'kids & horror' book is Robert McCammon's "Boy's Life" that's a cross between King's "Stand By Me" and Ray Bradbury's "Dandelion Wine".
And of course, there is Bradbury's own epic, "Something Wicked This Way Comes".
