Books 33-34

33) The Other Side of Time: The seconf of Keith Laumer's dimension hopping novels, this is, I think, the last time travel book from the in-law box. Once I got myself into the proper Harry Harrison/Roger Zelanzy mindset of the insanely overskilled hero this was a fun read, although the protagonist's inability to see the time loop coming made it clear he couldn't be as smart as he appeared.

34) Contiuum: I finally gave this time travel RPG a full read (borthday present from [livejournal.com profile] kriz1818  some 8 years ago!) and found it a fascinating game that I will steal things from but likely never run. The default world of time travllers is very logical and well thought out, but I just didn't see enough hooks for me as a GM. But if I do run a full scale "you have time travel" game I will surely be raiding this book for ideas on time combat and paradoxes.

Are you still thinking of running a time travel thing for next month's game? Is there going to BE a next month's game?
