Normally I don't include graphic novels and the like, but this year I am including the following because they have a large and dense text element to them.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen book 2 (specifically Mina's journals), which I have to get back from evynrude

A Blazing World: the unofficial companion to the LoEG book 2 (which I will need to make full sense of Mina's journals)

LoEG Black Dossier (which will make more sense once I understand Mina's journals)

Thanks for earlier recommending my 100th book (which I just finished reading) to round out 2007; The Chinatown Death Cloud Peril by Paul Malmont.

I also have to add to my list Two O'Clock, Eastern Wartime, a murder mystery set in an east coast 1942 radio station and Chrisopher Priest's The Prestige, which was made into a goood movie with a bad ending a year oor so back. They're on the pile as well.
