Happy Holidays!

According to my calender today is the first day of Hanukkah, but I'm not sure whether that means it starts tonight or started last sundown. In any event, enjoy the holiday to all of you that celebrate it.

The Rogers long Christmas Season has begun, with the first family Christmas (to accommidate the aunts, uncles and in-laws who can't make it next weekend) occurring today. We hope that the plan of asking my family for all of our gifts today will reduce the ferret-shock oh-bright-and-shiny meltdown that the baby might otherwise experience on the 25th, when we go from Rachel's parents house to my parents house for what can sometimes be 7 hours of present opening. With the new baby around I don't expect that present opening orgy to diminish in any way....

I'm sneaking a present or two in for myself, heading off to http://www.indiepressrevolution.com/products.php?publisherLink=atomicSockMonkey to by myself a copy of [livejournal.com profile] chadu's new Zorcerer of Zo and waiting impatiently for the bug to get ironed out of the playtest so I can access [livejournal.com profile] whswhs's Supers manuscript. Much good gaming reading ahead.

That's we Jews have been using the InterWeb for thousands of years - so we can figure out when the holidays start. Here's my favorite one: http://urj.org/calendar/

And yes, it started last night at sundown.
