Up there with my previous complant about giving the Mummy an MRI

"Could Radioactive Scorpion Venom Save Ted Kennedy?" from Wired Science Blog.

Ummmm... OK, there's a possibility for a new member of the Revolution, Boston's super-hero team. Or not.

Avengers Unite! Oh wait, that's NYC, isn't it?

I am amazed at the amount of poisonous crap that cropped up in the comments to the Wired article centering around political opinion and hateful diatribe. *shiver*

Thinking he would turn all Scorpy (ala Farscape) myself.

It is interesting at least, the new technology and treatments that are out there. Had to scroll and search for them though.

And it's "Avengers Assemble!"

I have long since given up any amazement at people's ability to spew hateful venom over the web, on any topic.

*sigh*

You are correct on both comments. I just didn't expect it to happen on wired... but, the trolls will out.

OT: What do you think of Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury?

He doesn't look much like an Italian kid from Brooklyn. But since they did the character revamp in the Ultimates line and had Fury look just like Jackson - including a line that in a movie he would be played by Jackson - I suppose it was inevitable.

What I'm looking forward to are the Tony Stark and Nick Fury cameos in the upcoming Hulk movie. About time they started tying these films together.

I figured tying them all together was their ultimate goal. You can't just read ONE comic book series because they have stuff happening to you favorite character(s) across an array of series' so, it makes sense that you can't just go see ONE movie, you have to see them all because they are all tied in together in their story-line arc.

You've got confirmation on the cameos?

How long ago did they do that revamp? It would be interesting if that was put in as a prelude to this being lined up - purposely put in to see the reaction of fans during the planning stages of the Avengers lead up.
