Michael Crichton, RIP

I haven't read his work in years, but the man deserves serious props for Juassic Park and Great Train Robbery, never mind the sprawling behemoth that is ER (which I still contend should have ended after year 3 with the end of John Carter's residency). James Fallows' rememberance is here.
