I don't know how I feel about this

They're doing a movie version of the Spirit. I'm a huge fan of the strip. But the screenplay is by Frank Miller. I'm a big fan of his work too - I'm just not sure that the plot synopsis, and Miller's previous work, captures the feeling of fun that emanated from the original Eisner stories. 

I am cautiously optimistic, but it's a lot of caution.
